Terms of Service

Using PTSA.app

PTSA.app is a platform for school PTSA/PTO communities — announcements, events, volunteering, membership, and donations. By creating an account, you agree to use it honestly: the information you provide about yourself, your role, and your students should be accurate.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it. We may disable an account that's being used abusively or fraudulently.

Roles and permissions

Some areas of PTSA.app — treasurer tools, membership management, leadership approvals — are limited to people authorized by their school's PTSA. Requesting a privileged role doesn't grant it automatically; a school leader or PTSA.app administrator reviews and approves those requests.

Payments

Membership dues and donations are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's own terms for handling that transaction. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by your PTSA's treasurer through the platform.

Content you provide

You keep ownership of the announcements, events, and other content your PTSA posts. By posting it, you're giving PTSA.app permission to display it to your school's community as intended.

What's not allowed

  • Impersonating someone else, or misrepresenting your role or affiliation with a school
  • Attempting to access another family's information, or another organization's data
  • Using the platform to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
  • Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the service

Availability

We aim to keep PTSA.app available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to take the platform offline briefly for maintenance or updates.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above.
